MSA and University of Gibraltar announce brand new training partnership

The Maritime Skills Academy (part of the Viking Maritime Group) has announced the launch of a training partnership with the University of Gibraltar.

MSA Gibraltar is a fully integrated partnership with the University of Gibraltar and a significant move to be positioned in Southern Europe. The partnership means that the MSA can now offer clients an additional location option, in addition to their UK bases in Dover and Portsmouth, with the highest standards of training standards.

For operators who also have vessels in the Mediterranean or who use Gibraltar for visits, bunkering, and crew changes, the facilities the University and the MSA provide are second to none and a perfect solution for their crew training needs.

The initial STCW courses that will be offered by the MSA at the University are:

Further STCW courses which include Medical First Aid, Proficiency in Medical Care and Fast Rescue Boat will be launched throughout 2023.
