The Qualsafe Level 2 Award in Fire Safety (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification that has been specifically designed for anyone who has a specific responsibility for fire safety in the workplace, such as designated fire wardens/fire marshals.
Successful candidates will gain an understanding of fire safety management at work and the specific roles and responsibilities related to fire safety in the workplace.

- Roles and responsibilities of the nominated fire warden:
- On a day-to-day basis
- During an emergency
Certification
This course will include practical use of portable fire extinguishers.
Theory Assessment: will consist of one multiple choice paper which is to be sat under exam conditions.
Once you have successfully passed, you will receive an electronic certificate directly from Qualsafe. Please allow up to 5 working days from completion of course to received this.

Prerequisites
- Learners must be at least 14 years old on the first day of training and be able to perform practical tasks at floor level.
- There are no other formal entry requirements but we strongly recommend that learners have a minimum of level 1 in literacy and numeracy or equivalent.
- Due to the practical nature of this course, learners should wear appropriate clothing and footwear e.g: trousers and flat footwear
