Head of Training, Sam Kelly, said of the event: "Over the past 12 months, the Maritime Skills Academy has been working closely with local Sea Cadet branches, and after plenty of behind-the-scenes planning, we hosted 47 sea cadets at our training centre.

The cadets faced different learning scenarios and showed courage and excellent teamwork throughout the day. They are complete ambassadors of the Sea Cadets ethos. The team and I look forward to welcoming them again in the near future."
