GWO BSTR – Working at Height Refresher
Duration: 1 day (there will be refreshment breaks and 1hr lunch break each day. Hot and cold beverages provided)

Prerequisites: All delegates need to be registered with WINDA - https://winda.globalwindsafety.org and have valid Basic Safety Training or Basic Safety Training Refresher certificates registered on their account. A basic level of fitness is required to complete the practical elements of the course. There is no pre-learning required.
The aim of this BSTR Working at Heights Module is to review and build on previously gained knowledge and skills through theoretical and practical training so that Delegates can administer safe and effective Working at Heights in the wind turbine industry/ WTG environment in accordance with GWO Refresher Working at Heights training.
The course will include videos, group discussions, trainer led presentations and practical demonstrations of working at height equipment, time spent using the equipment and rescue demonstrations.
Delegates will be assessed throughout the course with a short, written exam upon completion.
Trainer to delegate ratio of 1:12 for theory elements and 1:4 for practical sessions.
Upon completion of the course you will be presented with the original certificate.
This course is Module 4 of the minimum GWO basic safety training refresher requirements. The following courses can be booked individually:
- GWO First Aid (1 day)
- GWO Manual Handling (0.5 day)
- GWO Fire Awareness (0.5 days)
- GWO Sea Survival (1 day)
