Prerequisites: A basic level of fitness is required to complete the practical elements of the course. There is no pre-learning required.
The aim of this crew transfer course is to give the participants the basic knowledge and skills to act safely and use the correct procedures and knowledge when involved in transfer operations from transfer vessel to shore, wind farm monopile, barge or installation.
The course will include videos, group discussions, trainer led presentations and practical demonstrations with sea survival equipment, using emergency equipment, transferring between boat and monopile and understanding emergencies at sea.
Delegates will be assessed throughout the course with a short, written exam upon completion.
Trainer to delegate ratio of 1:12 for theory elements and 2:12 for practical sessions.
Upon completion of the course you will be presented with the original certificate.
