Fire Marshal/Warden Course

Prerequisites: A very basic level of fitness is required to complete the practical elements of the course. There is no pre-learning required.
This course gives delegates basic fire awareness knowledge, what to do in the event of a fire, how to prevent a fire from happening in the work place and gives hands on practical experience of tackling a real fire with an extinguisher. It also provides the roles and responsibilities of the Fire Marshall/Warden.
Employers must ensure that all employees are provided with adequate safety training at the time they are first employed and repeated periodically where appropriate. Training should include suitable and sufficient instructions and training on the appropriate precautions and actions to be taken by the employee in order to safeguard themselves and other relevant persons on the premises. There will be a practical exercise session that provides each delegate with the opportunity to handle various types of extinguishers on live controlled fires.
The course will include videos, group discussions, trainer led presentations and practical assembly/muster exercises and roll call practice.
Delegates will be assessed throughout the course.
Trainer to delegate ratio of 1:24 for theory elements and 1:8 for practical sessions.
Upon completion of the course you will be presented with the original certificate.
